Bishop Daniel B. Salley Jr. is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Redeeming Life Ministries International (RLMI), where he has faithfully served since the ministry’s inception. Answering the call to ministry in January 1983, he has remained devoted to advancing God’s Kingdom and equipping believers to live with purpose, faith, and spiritual authority.

Coming from a rich legacy of ordained ministers and pastors, Bishop Salley carries a deep-rooted passion for teaching and leadership. His journey has been marked by both spiritual and practical experience—including a distinguished military career—through which God further shaped his ability to lead with discipline, vision, and compassion.

Following his military service, Bishop Salley fully embraced his calling to shepherd God’s people. His leadership is centered on developing individuals spiritually, strengthening families, and empowering those called to serve in ministry. Under his guidance, RLMI has grown into a thriving ministry, including the successful acquisition of church property in Port Tobacco, Maryland, where the congregation continues to worship and serve the community.

Bishop Salley is a graduate of Central Texas College and Jericho Christian Training College, and he has pursued advanced biblical studies through Christian Bible College and Seminary as well as Light University. His commitment to both spiritual and personal development is reflected in his affiliations with organizations such as the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), the Charles County Minister’s Alliance, the Charles County Chamber of Commerce, and The American Legion.

In addition to his pastoral role, he serves as a regionally appointed Bishop in the International Communion of Evangelical Churches (ICEC), Eagles Rock Diocese, under the leadership of the 2nd Presiding Bishop, Eugene V. Reeves.

Bishop Salley is widely known for his practical, Spirit-led teaching that makes the Word of God relevant to everyday life. His messages often focus on faith, spiritual maturity, financial stewardship, and understanding spiritual warfare. Whether speaking at churches, conferences, retreats, or leadership seminars—both nationally and internationally—his heart remains the same: to see lives transformed through the power of God’s Word.
